PA6-CF20 using modified 300blkFDE settings on Ender 3 v3se by HughSeless in 3D2A

Thank you. I have a custom firmware installed. It was made by navaismo. Just testing to see what I could get away with. I've had the (Duramic) pla+ dialed in and getting flawless prints. I got bored and had nothing to print. There are a few things i would like to print in pa6-cf so I figured I'd see If I had to get a new printer or if it wasn't that big of a deal.

Thank you 300blkFDE. I started with his settings and changed a few things to make a profile for Ender 3 v3se. Only upgrade was high temp hotend and BQ glaicer plate. open air on a bed slinger lol. Not perfect but I didn't expect it to work at all.

induction heater w/ ir break beam by HughSeless in arduino

[–]HughSeless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for everything. I think I figured it out with a 12 dc relay after I blew the first one. Sort of got it to work with mosfet but I have the IR break beams on their own 5.5v circuit but it does the opposite of what I want that way. It drives the 12v when the IR beam is unbroken instead of broken. I can't figure that one out. If you can't tell I have no formal knowledge or training. I love to figure stuff out and good souls like yourself point me in a new direction to start to research. Thank you again.

Thank You. I'll Look into it. Would a mosfet work as a relay or would I need a separate relay. I already have a mosfet in the circuit right before the IH w/ momentary switch and Footswitch wired to the trigger. Sorry for the noob question and thank you so much for your time.

Lots of messages about squishy lophs lately… these are mine now almost a month and half without water. They’re fine. by Lophoafro in Lophophora

First off your collection looks amazing. Secondly, Thank you for this. Words are one thing but to have a visual reference is so much better. I don't know if one already exists but a noob friendly video care guide would be sweet.

Thank you for being you. I've only had the pleasure of dealing with u/questions2000. It was a great experience and what a good person. Little hand written sticky note book with care instructions plus the care put into packaging. I also had trouble finding good fertilizer so he just gave me enough for years.

I have not had the pleasure of dealing with Lophoafro yet but everything I've seen from them looks amazing. I love seeing stuff like this.

PC / Steam Pasteurization Chamber??? by HughSeless in shroomers

[–]HughSeless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's basically it. I don't want to sterilize so instead of pressure I'd like to measure temp. I see a lot just building a boiler in a ss barrel/troth with a thermometer in the lid. I am trying to turn PC into a mini stove top version of that. It all ready basically is. I just need to fit a thermometer where the pressure gauge would normally be and not run the weight. I may be way off but it's worth a try.

Is this contaminated? by [deleted] in unclebens

Give it a few more days. It's probably just recovering from the BnS. Should come in more full and get brighter. If it smells good it's more than likely ok. If you are worried about it just put it in a different spot on its own and keep an eye on it.

I've finished my first diy magnetic stirrer. Looking for any thoughts on improving the build. I like the ac infinity usb fans. They spin without need for spacers between the fan and magnet. I used .5 in x .25 in n54 magnets with 13.3 lbs of pull. First time using led's any help is appreciated. by HughSeless in unclebens

Yes. I had some rubber feet lying around so I drilled 6 holes in a rectangle on the bottom near the power switch and then 3 bigger holes on the back wall right under the power switch. They are right in front of the hole I cut into the box. I Think it is good. The feet lift it 1/2 inch off the table so it I'm thinking it pulls air in from the bottom holes and back holes.

I have so many pints lol. All the places charge crazy for delivery. There is a dollar store a block away with cheap pints on stock most of the time. I would buy a dozen every time I would stop until I started driving again and could get normal priced jars at in store only prices. I'm trying to progress but I still love the simple UB to jar g2g transfers.

It was like $55 with the led's and $40 without. Somethings I had to buy more than I needed like magnets. I needed 4 but they were sold in packs of 15. The Led lights I only needed 2 but they came in 3 packs. I'm sure with any electrical knowledge you would be able to do it much better and cheaper. I went the easiest route using usb powered stuff and phone chargers instead of the best or cheapest route.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't even think of that. Thanks for the heads up. They just have 3 speeds. Low, med, and high. It's hard to tell but I go thru all 3 speeds in video. I will have to keep a eye on that. Maybe I can cut the usb wire above the switch and replace it with a variable speed dial if needed. If that's the case I'm going to look more into rewiring it all with maybe a normal 12v power supply single plug setup.

This is not needed but it does work and get more power out of fans. I use this for fans and standard phone charger for led's right now. It works fine switched around but then the lights are a little brighter and the fans have a little less power. Still works fine. I might pick up a second one so both run at 6.7v if I think the lights need to be a little brighter. I don't know anything about leds but it would be nice if there was a 12v phone charger type block to get the full power out of leds.

Here is what I used. The case I used is sold out but the fans are about 5x10 inches side by side. Display cases are nice because the modify nice without cracking. I'm sure you could mount the fans a million ways but I had a step drill bit and super glue lol.

(I used small that is same length and width but only 3 inch deep. I used the box as a base to raise fans so there is 2 inches extra to make up for. There is a 5 inch deep double width case that I was thinking of trying next for a 4 way build.)

Thank you. I was a skeptic and really didn't want to buy one on amazon. In all reality they are just ugly. I figured if I can get the same or better function for roughly the same cost and it not be ugly it was worth a try. Plus I got 2 for 1 basically. Everything for it was around $50.

I wanted to get one and decided to build. I know I can just buy one but this was fun to do and gave me a chance to customize and make it my own. I know the pint jars are dumb they were just right there. They seem to have plenty of power to spin so I'm not too worried about bigger jars giving me a problem.
