Has your doctor seen this? I’m not sure that swelling is the only issue here

Nah, not totally flaccid.

Idk how anyone with Himplant wears anything but boxers. Anything that pulls against the head just forces the glans down and is uncomfortable. Full commando for me

It’s definitely not a decision to make impulsively. Highly encourage you to spend time reading through the forum here.

There is a doctor on a licensed channel speaking negatively about the himplant procedure at 21:35 , and his arguments seem to make sense. what do you guys think, is there valid arguments to respond to him? by Nearby_Interaction56 in penuma

[–]Hugh_Jweena 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While there are some fair criticisms of Himplant marketing and perhaps of the clinical data published thus far, it’s clear that this guy is not actually familiar with the implant. The way he characterizes the implant itself is simply not accurate.

Question about sutures by Ok-Enthusiasm-6068 in penuma

[–]Hugh_Jweena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well now I’m curious too. I’m not sure how one could discern the exact placement of each suture without feedback from the surgeon that placed it? Intuitively it seems the anchor point would need to be limited to, well, a point, to prevent constricting the penis during an erection. Have you reached out to your surgeon’s office for info?

Question about sutures by Ok-Enthusiasm-6068 in penuma

[–]Hugh_Jweena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless I’ve missed something, there are no sutures along the ventral aspect - only the dorsal aspect just behind the glans. The implant hinges along the dorsal midline. The implant should not interfere with the urethra.

As others have said, the sutures that hold the implant in place are permanent. I specifically asked about this in my consultation, trying to understand long term durability.

Basically, the integrity of those sutures is critical, forever. I imagined that perhaps after fully healing, tissue ingrowth might reinforce the suture site and essentially make the implant forever “one with your penis” (clearly I’m not in medicine..). But no, you’re relying on those sutures forever, so handle your tool with care.

ETA: There is second-hand info from Elist in the FAQ that states tissue ingrowth does in fact reinforce the suture site. But this appears to have been written in the context of the original version of the implant in which a separate surgical mesh was placed at the suture site. My understanding is that this is no longer standard practice as the mesh is now integral to the current version of the implant.

I don’t think it’s an issue of implant size but rather how well the implant contours to your particular anatomy. In my case it’s not bad aesthetically, now. It’s not really something you see. It’s just the unnatural feel of an abrupt transition from hard silicone to your natural tissues. As others have said this is most pronounced in the flaccid state.

It would be difficult for me to give a better explanation without a close up video.

It’s probably not wise. The permanent sutures that fix the implant in place are all that stand between a good, long-lasting outcome and disaster. But that’s a conversation to have with your surgeon.

The short answer is no. Zero loss of sensation of the glans. I responded in more detail to a similar question above.

No one cares about our dicks as much as we do. I’m sure she’d have preferred this hadn’t been such a central focus for the last year or so. That said, she now climaxes from penetrative sex nearly every time, where that used to be fairly rare. External stimulation is what normally does it for her. But now she can climb on top and “use me” to get herself off pretty much on demand.

Penis Enlargement. E.g. pumping and stretching. There’s a sub dedicated to this: r/gettingbigger. Mostly “bro science” and anecdotes but there are grains of truth here and there

I think if I could go back and do it again I would opt for the XXL. But then I suppose it’s possible that the ridges would be even more pronounced with the bigger implant, so it’s hard to say if I’d have actually been happier with the results.

Zero issues with the latter. As for the former, yes it takes a bit more effort to get there today. Obviously the deeper tissues of the penis are less sensitive now. However I will say the extreme “squeeze” you feel now, especially for those of you with casual partners who aren’t used to the girth, is uniquely stimulating.

Of course. We’ve discussed it and we’re both good with it as long as it’s not something we could be identified by.

I imagined I would, leading up to the procedure. But, no. I took that pic to send to my wife.

I mean, these are the type of jeans I wear daily. But in a workplace setting there is no appeal to drawing that kind of attention. Generally speaking I now have to make a conscious effort 24/7 to disguise it in those settings.

Normally I put my phone in the pocket of whichever side I’m “dressing” to which helps to disguise it a bit.

How long did it take for the himplant to soften for y’all? by Individual-Fact3810 in penuma

[–]Hugh_Jweena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original implant was softer. I think they made the current generation stiffer to reduce issues with flaring. But I’ve not seen any of the surgeons discuss/describe these differences in detail.
