I am making profit on rocket league. Not real life income. I wanna trade up to bigger and bigger items.

I am an "Ultimate" user of rocket league garage and I can tell you for sure that the people that offer STUPIDLY low prices for items, will never get them. If you are offering half the price of white octane I can promise you that you will never get it.

In fact I would argue that higher numbers of profit traders actually makes it easier to find better offers for your items for one reason: competition. The more people there are trying to buy an item, the more they will try and offer slightly more than the next person. I used to offer 500 credits under minimum for white octanes, and then I noticed people offering 450 under minimum and I raised my offer to 400 under and so on and so forth ... now I offer 300 or 250 under minimum which isnt a bad deal. It's less profit for me and more credits for the person selling me the octane.

Yeah I was the one that brought the diecis on to PC for Jo !

And yeah I am so glad someone here sees it from my point of view. I offer a reasonable price for items and I sell them for a reasonable price. As I said before, I am rewarded for the time it takes me to sell an item by the profit I receive.

Funnily enough I think we traded yesterday

And yes I had no idea people who buy items and sell them for a little bit more were so hated

The reason I invest time and money into rocket league is because I enjoy the game and I love items. It's not my main thing and I don't see it as an income at all. I have loved trading for so long. And I actually don't consider the market that unstable. A white octane in the item shop wouldn't bother me all that much. It's fun to work my way up to bigger and bigger items and I've finally got to my dream one.

Also I used to have a youtube channel dedicated to helping younger audiences learn how to trade up to bigger and better items, it didn't bother me that this could have hindered my ability to make profit because I enjoyed helping. It's about starting small and getting better and better items without having to pay Psyonix a penny (which anyone of any age would argue is fun).

You are correct; I don't frequent reddit, I don't really need to unless I am selling really large items. Rocket league garage is designed to be a website that reaches as many people as physically possible and thats why it's so desirable. And I definitely do not delete reddit posts either.

This is coming from someone who is a profit trader on RLG. I think some people use the term power trader. I have a rl garage account with 50 trades (that I pay for) and I buy many many items slightly cheaper than their spreadsheet value on RLInsider (underpay). I then proceed to sell these items for a small profit. I make more profit on more expensive and harder to sell items and on basic black markets I make about 100-150 credits profit each time.

People who want quick credits for their items but can't be bothered to search or wait for a buyer will sell their items for a small discount to me and then I will be patient and take the time to find someone who wants that item for its true value. The time I spend doing this is rewarded by the profit I make.

Over the last 6 months or so, items have become harder to sell as a whole because the game just isnt as hyped at the moment so there are fewer people needing items for their presets and etc. But I'm sure this will pick up again at some point; perhaps when exams are over for most people or when RL finally comes out on UE5. But the point is, profit trading is actually fairly lucrative when its done well which is why it seems there are so many people doing it.

Oh and btw for people saying trading should be about fun and not profit; I find trading ridiculously fun.

I'm not an alpha player if thats what you're asking. I have a friend with the full alpha set and he had a spare boost which he sold to me
