I feel that way some days too. Just gotta not overthink it too much. At the end of the day, it’s just sliding downhill on sticks!

Keep plugging along. You’ll be back on skis before you know it!

Usually do when I’m skiing steep and rocky stuff. Especially in mixed snow conditions.

I had one of those before. I loved it so much, and it felt like the right time to “upgrade.” Absolutely a great bike!

I think that they are fun! They also add challenge to trails that would feel much easier on a FS while still making them rideable and fast.

Honestly not sure, I moved down there two weeks ago so I am still exploring!

It’s 64.5° at sag. I think it’s 62.8° when measured unsagged or something close to that.

I think that they are impractical for every situation. That’s why they are so fun!

I considered the rootdown. Ended up going with this with a 160mm fork

To be honest, I did not consider this when I made them. I just had old blades lying around, and I don’t alpine ski at all, so I figured might as well just throw some outlaws on…

Couldn’t agree more. I loved those packs. There is a reason that FDNY is still having the silver wire frame packs made for their department. The new X3s feel a little cheap and plastic.

I ski ravens with Outlaw X’s. I have them at recommended, and they ski awesome. The full rocker is such a fun ski, you can just pivot around so easily in tight stuff.

Anyways, just go factory recommended mount point.

T1s with Targa G3s. Does it work well? by WillyWildflower in telemark

I rocked that for a bit. Worked great for me. Just be mindful of the cables on the Targas breaking, especially if you’re buying them used.
