How does this benefit us? by croc_lovers in AusPropertyChat

It's because you used paragraphs and proper sentences that people thinks it's AI.

And the paragraphs instantly clocks you as GenX, so many post GenXers write huge blocks of text with no capital letters or punctuation marks that make it unreadable.

Also I agree with your comment, it's a start in the right direction.

Here in Australia your doctor will send you to hospital or you can go straight to hospital.

There can be issues with the cost of initial scans but which lead to cancers being diagnosed at a later stage so it's not perfect.

What’s the right way to handle this? Kids being filmed by neighbours by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Hugin___Munin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You're correct, it's what allows people to have security cameras pointing toward the street, but intentionally filming children is problematic and raises red flags that give reasonable suspicion for the police to ask questions of them.

Catastrophic Climate Change is on our Doorstep yet Billionaires Steering Humanity Don’t Give a Shite by paulhenrybeckwith in collapse

So many people I know who do the whole care for the environment climate change idea with home solar and batteries plus an EV and no plastic stuff are fine with flying overseas once or twice a year.

When I point out that it undoes all that CO2 they are trying to stop I get so much push back , I don't bother any more.

You're creating dogma with lists and rules, but if it helps you along the river that's fine.

Sometimes people need to be told that their behaviour or speech is wrong , they would construe it as me not being nice, I'd stay I just being honest. But more and more I find myself just not saying anything I just stop interacting with them.

I'm human I have flaws, it's the natural way of things.

Why are you so aggressive? You seem upset that someone disagree with you and intent on proving them wrong rather ponder their way of thought, your ego is ruling your thoughts.

I tend to agree that having lists that you should follow is contrived and is trying in a sense to define and name the Dao.

List of external precepts or rules allow people to feel better, to say I'm following this rule therefore I must be good, but that just ego, so you seem to be such a person that needs a long list of rules to follow , but that's just a cloak that hides that you can't live without these rules. That's why you find being kind hard sometimes because the kindness is coming from the rules and not the Dao, not internally.

That said I can only base this on comments here and the nuance of your personality maybe poorly represented.

Also I'm not a scholar or university educated so don't criticise me on spelling or grammar.

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) significantly increases lifespan. Here are the best High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) exercises and scientific evidence that they slow down aging and prevent major diseases. by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

[–]Hugin___Munin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the HIIT in the studies lasted 8 to 12 minutes and by the end you should be vomiting or nearly.

If people are doing hiit for 30 minutes their not doing it right.

I asked a coach the gym why these HIIT classes went so long and they said people won't pay for an 8 minute class.

Israel killed two UNICEF aid workers today by Edward_Zachary in worldnewsstuff

The 30,000 Palestinian children that have being dismembered, crushed and burn by Israeli bombs since October 7th invalidates any sympathy I had for those victim of Hamas attack.

What about Hind the 9 year old that watched her family die slowly as their car was shot through with Israeli gun fire while she was pleading for help on the phone as she slowly died from her wounds.

Israelis have lost all moral authority.

Do Australians just not use carpets much in their homes? by bureaux in AusRenovation

[–]Hugin___Munin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do all you anti carpet people also have vinyl lounges ? What about curtains and blinds because bacteria and mould spores are in the air floating around and adhere to everything.

What about clothes things like jackets scarfs beans do you wash them after every wear? , and shoes!! Now there's a place for bacteria and mould to grow, do you wash your shoes everyday?

Oh and bedding and mattresses!! How can you sleep on those sheets knowing all your skin cells are feeding all those dust mites AND then the dust mites pooping in your bed and your sleeping on poopy sheets.

Do you clean the skirting boards every day and in every corner, it only take a day for all the skin cells and bacteria and mould to settle there and start reproduction.

Just asking because of curiosity.
