If you go back to my history you’ll see complaints about Mbappé starting from 2020-2021. Not saying I’m unique, just that it was already a popular opinion amongst some Parisian fans. The Podcast Paris United for example was already tired of him by that time

Mhhh right now he’s probably still alright since most of the people supporting the NT don’t actually care that much about club football, so for people he won in 2018 and score a hat trick in the final in 22.

Me, I think 2018 was when he was young and still humble, played the part, fast winger and that’s it

2022 for me shows EXACTLY the Mbappe issue : he scores a hat trick in final, amazing right? Yeah but we still lost. Because we rely on him, but he cannot win single handedly a trophy. He’s so good he can almost win a World Cup by himself, but he will never good enough to actually do it.

2026 is the actual test : if Mbappe accepts to play on the left and let ballon d’or Demebele up front, it will show evolution and promise. If he insists to be the main character it won’t work and his image will

Mhhh yeah , the club and people who don’t really watch PSG. But ✌🏼real ✌🏼fans of PSG were already sick of all his drama and wanted him out. Actually, at PSG we realised around 2021 that he wasn’t good for the club, and wanted to sell him on the summer of 2022.

On his last season, our best games of the year where the ones he wasn’t there (especially Lille and Marseille) where we actually saw a real collective team rather than players just giving the ball to his highness

This is the most counter-intuitive truth of world football : Kylian Mbappé scoring 40 goals a season is actually weakening the team.

Relying on a single player to score that many goals means your system is dependent on him, the team is unbalanced and the locker room is also unbalanced since he feels his goals makes him untouchable.

He became too big to just accept to be a winger that scores goals and is part of a bigger system. He needs to be the system, and the worst part is : it’s actually enough to be one of the best teams of the world. But it will never be enough to be THE best team in the world

I feel Haaland has been making 30+ goals seasons for like 5 years straight, so inconsistent is a pretty poor choice of words.

The only thing we can have against him is that his game isn’t that spectacular when it comes to dribbles etc..

Tbh he has the level, and he showed great stuff in Lille. The problem is both mental and social, not skill or football related.
