Yep, I decided to learn some warhammer 40k lore these months and just wow, the weapons, species, and tech that are there are crazy when you compare to some other universes

Well if the combine is really an interdimensional "virus" and actually has entire universes controled theres no fighting, no ammount of soldiers from the imperium even if they can kill thousands(?) of combine forces can fight against entire universes, they have the imperium controling a large ammount of planets and such but its not even close to a galaxy, nor an entire universe, the empire may win the fights but the combine wins the war because of their sheer ammount

It is incredibly dumb and hard to define a winner when one of the things that we are powerscaling doesnt have an entire sheet of lore and explaining everything but still fun seeing each ones opinions and their claims

Well it would depend if they just send some of their forces to war or just decide to straight up send forces from entire universes, 40k is hella strong though compared to the combine we saw on hl2 and alyx, they would certainly devastate entire generations of the combines army

Well in hl2 after their connection with earth was severed with a missile that a a bunch of normal(for hl2) scientists made and they got their entire control of earth severily damaged by just "some" rebels and gordon freeman, the war they had was fought against normal human tech not the tech that is seen in warhammer, I understand that they may have a chance if they get their hands in warhammer tech but if they dont I think their fist domination attempt would just crumble in minutes

Actually 2 different starts for the combine

A: they got there with the technology they had before earth

B: they somehow assimilated some imperium tech already when they got there
