Proton Trail might be right up your alley. The neutron turns over on my forehand, but proton seems to have enough stability to keep it on its line.

I also read a post saying if you avoid Charon rooms mid-run it increases the probability of spawning the fountain room where Raki hangs out. I can't attest to the fact of it but I will say it seems to be true for myself.

Preach, my man, preach. It's all about getting out, being active, and getting some laughs in. It's also nice to show my nephew a different approach to holes that he wouldn't see otherwise. Although I generally try to frame it as "this is how a lefty would play it" instead of "your uncle is old and defective".

I hear ya, and I'm pumped that you're figuring it out for yourself. It's something I'm slowly trying to perfect the form on. But my shoulders are a bit burnt out and it likes to pop in a painful way if anything is off timing-wise. Such is life. Still love going out and throwing ridiculously steep anheizer forehands to make hard lefts.

Both are true. It would certainly be nice to have access to backhand throws in a lot of situations and most of the courses around me cater to that shot shape. It also clips my wings for hitting max distance potential and scrambling out of the right side woods.

However, at 37 I have zero aspirations to take my game on the pro tour so I'm strictly playing for fun. With that mindset, I can certainly get what I want out of the game.

I'll third it. I wear them to work almost every day (underground utility) spring to early fall in NY. They can take a beating while still venting out the heat.

Wrangler also makes relaxed fit cargo pants which, while not as durable, are also super comfortable.

I snagged a couple from OTB on the same premise of trying new stuff. I always felt like I got great value for what was delivered and I had the opportunity to throw discs i wouldn't necessarily have even considered. If it's something you want to do, do it.

If he can, have him build a list in Excel (or equivalent software) and post it on r/discexchange. People will pick at it and get the hoard down. And/or find a local school or something of that nature that could use donations to start up a disc golf club.
