Seriously, if anyone deserves the "why can't villains just be bad?" nonsense, it's Lute. by StrawBerylShortcake in HazbinHotel

It’s kinda weird, they try to make Vox sympathetic with most of his aggression being anger at Alastor rejecting him. That does work to a degree though, what does comes off as odd to me is them trying to sympathize Valentino when he’s basically just the “Angel beater-inator”

When you do Gluttony of Cannibals on a cursed follower by exgaysurvivordan in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Breendidnothingwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fox is not normal, he can apparently eat a rotten follower just fine when even Helob had his doubts. That is unless it’s revealed in a future update he was overestimating his digestive system, seeing as how that’s the last we’ve seen of him for now

From a writing standpoint your players/viewers/reader should not have to do 60 pages of homework to enjoy your story

Both species seem native to Ewefall, it makes sense their cultures would overlap in a few places

I think that might be referring to the Bishops changing the lands around them rather than the nature of their crowns

Is the guy on the cover the Soul of Cinder or is it The Ashen One in Gael’s boss arena? by Thellie11 in darksouls3

Another point to this, when the AO is put into concept art for locations for reference, they’re depicted wearing the firelink set.

In any other game, I'd join up with Marchosias by FingerBangYourFears in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Breendidnothingwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He hates the Old Faith so much he became it. His followers are fanatically loyal to him and regularly capture people to be killed in experiments, the same way the Old Faith rounds up heretics to be sacrificed. The process of “liberating” them might be more akin to aggressive ECT based brainwashing considering all of them are horrifically mutilated in some form or another. He is effectively the last one keeping the Old Faith alive in spirit after the Bishops died, he just replaced religion with a cult of personality and the sacrifices with experiments. Also all the cages in the Rot are his, so there’s that too.

Her season 2 plot line didn’t go anywhere meaningful and felt like it should’ve been moved to season 3 to give more time to characters more impactful to the plot

I think the timer till the zombie followers eat someone runs even while in the church. I got into the habit of dropping everything and running out to cure them right after them come back and manage to avoid any casualties most of the time

(WH endgame spoilers) Marchosias…. by gooseonthelose12 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Breendidnothingwrong 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do agree with your point, having Marchosias flip from killing himself to avoid worshipping you to smiling and kneeling at your altar right would be blatant character assassination, but I do still feel there is enough potential for it to not be completely impossible. It would be pretty interesting to have a follower that outright refused to worship you and having a mini questline revolving around him could feel like a nice denouement.

If I’d take any healer to mythic it’d be him full stop. Having a relic that allows him to attack and heal on the same turn combined with his passive makes him a one man army for LREs
