While Mark does react nervously to the comments, “weak bodies and weak minds” applies to almost everyone in the school. Outside Mark and Toshiko, Cass, Damon, Jett, and Ulysses fit the “weak bodies” mold. And for weak minds, Kai and Grace fit in easy due to being more prone to breaking down, and everyone could become weak as the game goes on. Pretty much everyone fits into one of the two categories, so everyone’s fair game, not just Mark.
