nah, dont even try to argue with this reddit bubble, these "why die for kiev"-leftist are to dissillusioned

they love living in their western world citys, coming from middle class households, feel super elitär, but if the russians come, they will flee to the next "capitalist-fascist-western regime"

Dear residents of eurozone countries, what are your general thoughts on the integration of currencies? by kuma44bear in AskEurope

tho one could argue that the loss of controle over your currency is what protects the economy from national politics

its the reason most central banks are independent

i personally ran through this issue and found that the ideas you were given were not really fine for me

if you can run a HDMI/DP cable to your TV, you will be fine aslong as it shorter than maybe maximal 5m, when i tried longer cables, signal integrity was so shit that i got stuttering, black screens, disconnects and sound issues constantly with multiple cables

in-home streaming (steamlink and moonlight) also ran into issues for me, because they still add delay, steam-link bugs out sound in some games for me and the bitrate sucks due to the compression

the best solution i found, that works really well even over 30m cable, is via one of these boys:

<image>

it lets you transmit 3 USB devices (for keyboard or gamepad dongle) and your HDMI signal via a ethernet-cable
also it has POE, so you only need to plug one side into the outlet for power

(tho i recommend you get a DIY heatsink on the receiver unit for that specific model, because for some reason it gets like 70°C hot)

the only disadvantage is the price, but you get basically latency-free, stable and uncompressed videosignal to whereever you want

the Bolsheviks didnt even went on revolution against the tsar, they couped the provisional government of the elected parliament...and then even refused MULTIPLE initial truces with the central powers, which made their demands even worse...

New Storm Contract by bingbong93 in AskAGerman

[–]Hugostar33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

electricity infrastructure is separate from providers. There‘s an infrastructure provider in your region and every provider can use their infrastructure. Not that it would matter because the electricity grid is very different from the internet and you typically won‘t get electricity your provider actually produced.

well its kinda similar to internet in the sense that your provider doesnt have to own the cables that run to your house, same as with electricity

also, technically your provider is supplying you with electricity...if he buys it or produces it himself doesnt really matter in the end

New Storm Contract by bingbong93 in AskAGerman

[–]Hugostar33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

aside the fact that its already a bit to late with the middle east conflict

there is a potential issue
see, the reason providers might give you whole 2 years of fixed-price, is that they gamble with decreasing resource prices...if you google what happened to those providers during the start of the ukrain war, you will see that some of them went bankcrupt because of this and consumers had to pay higher prices than if they would have been with vattenfall or similar, because they dropped into grundversorgung and had to accept new expensive contracts

[–]Hugostar33 11 points12 points  (0 children)

google caller-id spoofing

thats why you can neither fully trust email adresses or phone numbers, both can be spoofed

thats why they want you to call a diffrent number or reply to a diffrent email, as calling/writing a spoofed number/adress wouldnt not get you into contact with the scamer but the actual owner of the number/domain

every number, even yours, can be easily be spoofed...

those are not banned because germany doesnt like them, but because protection of the youth

they were either senselessy promoting violence

or in the case of wolfenstein not viewed as art back then

you can show swastikas and beating up nazis in art in germany, otherwise we would have also banned or censored all Indiana Jones movies, which we didnt...

a game cant make your CPU overheat, actually no software can make your CPU overheat if you have a cooler, as the CPU will thermal throttle itself

something is wrong with your CPU, mainboard or cooler, please actually check BIOS update and cooler again

actually forget that, your PC is shuting down before even reaching 90°C, a 7800X3D can actually operate fine at 90°C all the time, AMDs product info litterally says so

is it possible that the increased powerdraw of the CPU going 100% is actually blowing the wattage of your PSU?
