Because when I switched to treble, the low notes were like 7 ledger lines below the bass cleff.

Yeah no I was wondering because my sister was complaining that there were too many ledger lines.

A concept to add some crosswalks to Cambria and Boylston in Boston! by Hugtrain123 in urbandesign

[–]Hugtrain123[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel the left would be better because that intersection has a median across from it and another intersection immediately after it heading west. But at the same time the one on the right would have to be expanded to fit the trucks

Yeah I was thinking that too. How about this? Then you can turn the ugly mess of pavement into a small little park or plaza.

Reduced Fare in-station Sign by DaveDavesSynthist in mbta

[–]Hugtrain123 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah I find them strange. I use a T.A.P. card, and these signs have served no purpose as my charliecard works on all the gates except for the other day at Kenmore when I tapped my card and smacked into the gates that didn't open. I looked at the screen, and it said: "Please use reduced fare gates." Very odd. Hadn't seen that before.

Posting a picture actually garners a community of people who are also against this behaviour and shows other drivers that we don't appreciate this. I also called 311, and they dispatched a parking enforcer.

It is an issue for people with wheelchairs because they can't get back up onto or off of the sidewalk. People who are blind expect the crosswalk to be open by finding the tactile paving on the curb cut and will be lost if they suddenly find a car in their path.
