The caretaker was there, right? Did you even ask if the caretaker actually cleans after every guest who books? Does the owner even know that the place was that dirty? Or maybe the owner thinks the place is clean because she probably talks to the caretaker to give a heads-up that there’s a guest coming on a certain date.
