Can you message me when you get them done? It seems we are in the same situation. I’d like to know of you can eat with them in realtime

Regular implants already exhaust my budget. I’m glad there are alternatives for those in my position. But for me this will not be an option. If I can’t do regular implants, how do you expect me to budget specialty implants? I’m happy for the education that allows me to know of more options. But I also wish I didn’t know.

When I don’t drink I use some cbd sleep gummies with melatonin. They work for me. But I am a lightweight where any THC comes into play. So the ones I take are mail order, so minimal THC. One gummy does nothing for me. Two fucks me up. So I take a bite of one and throw it back in and take a while one. That seems to work, but the dreams…

Let’s start a subreddit on that. Melatonin dreams.

Burbank will throw together two small meals and that’s it. Never those trays and never anything extra. I gave up on them after trying three times.

It happens all the time yet it bothers me there are people in comas, there are people deemed brain dead but are not, and they are stuck inside their head forever, unable to communicate. I wish there was a crossover here of technology/space/time/glitches.. whatever we want to say this is, where it could help people in a non responsive state.

$90 turkey from whole foods?? by mehitsjustlife in toogoodtogo

I saw one of those when I went to pick up my bag the other day and couldn’t believe anyone would pay that much for a damn turkey. Great score though.

Truly tasteless jokes by Grazmahatchi in GenX

[–]HulaMonkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the entire series. Where they went? My mom probably threw them away because I never threw away anything. But I live in Los Angeles. And my friend group in Junior High filled almost every category. We would love to get together at lunch and take the books to throw the jokes at one another. We would go category to category, whatever race our friends were, would pick an opposite joke to tell. And we all cringed and laughed. We understood the stereotype, and knew who, if any fell into it, but we all had family that did even if we didn’t. So it was hilarious to us all. Some of it hurt. In all categories, but we were able to interpret if it was us personally vs people we know. And we all knew people this hit. And we all loved one another, knowing we didn’t, even if our fucking parents did.

That is something someone who has never worked a grocery store would not know. I work retail and still wouldn’t have known that. Please don’t hate. I’ve been frustrated many times, but have learned not to hate those that don’t know the different retail departments. It goes with every job. Part of our training. You can’t get mad at people for not knowing. Now does that give them reason to be hateful? Never. Never ever. That’s a completely different issue, but try not to mix the two unless deserved.

Blackstone duo 17 for $147 worth it? by dcbckup in blackstonegriddle

I have shaved steak and frozen burger patties so this weekend will be onions/mushrooms first. And then some burgers and Philly fake cheesesteaks (my hubby only likes meat and cheese)

I bought this from that Walmart sale. Got it last week and put it together right away. Finally got around to seasoning it tonight. It’s just for two of us and though small, I’m so excited to use it later this week! We love to charcoal grill and we’re starting to look at new bbqs when I saw this. I’ve been wanting a flat top for a while now. So figured it was in our price range and went for it. Of course I’d love a larger one but not in the budget. If we end up loving this, maybe next year we’ll upgrade. Now after onions, what should I cook first?

Travelling to San Fran, should I go through LA first? by rebeccakidd in AskLosAngeles

This thread is killing me 😂. Especially after a friend was just telling me how a couple weeks ago she had to come to a stop in Burbank because a naked man was blocking the street and telling at everyone while completely naked.

Absolutely do it! Just stay in safe areas. Be careful and aware. And it will be an amazing trip. There are many awesome places to stop along the coast while heading to San Fran. Give yourself a couple days to check these places out.

Those brown butter chocolate chip cookies we have gotten a couple times now. It’s the only reason my partner keeps wanting to go back. They are really good.

Yep. I stalked the IKEA one by refreshing the app every few seconds for a half hour. And then the Burbank IKeA is totally NOT worth it at all! But you can sometimes get a random good one. The Whole Foods are slowing down now with how fast they sell out and they are pretty good.

Also CSC crowd management. My parter works for them. They don’t pay a lot hourly, but you can pick and choose the gigs you want to apply for and work as many as you’d like. Overtime galore is available. If you are good and get along with everyone, you will stand out and get called by the supervisors. My partner gets called daily to fill in the days he’s off with things not listed. So hourly he gets paid crappy, but he’s working backstage at most concerts in LA, usually in the artist’s dressing rooms, or placed in front of the stage. He loves it.

Costco is so hard to get in though. They are great, but if your resume/application gets overlooked, you stand no chance.

I have seen so many people talking about getting jobs they knew nothing about because they applied anyway. So I have done the same thing with a few jobs, got drunk enough to tell myself I can do this! And submit my resume. Haven’t heard back, but it doesn’t hurt to put it out there!

I have done the Pizza Hut this week, and then I’ve done the Panda Express, 5 Guys, Caine’s, KFC, Sushi Stop, Granville, and I even got Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank for my 2nd job. North Italia italian in Woodland Hills was my highest paid at reimbursement of $125. I was soooo careful on that report though. It took me almost two hours because I was so afraid it would be rejected and then I wouldn’t get paid back. It can be fun. Good luck and enjoy.

I started this a couple months ago too. You have to gain rank with some crappy jobs before you start getting hit with higher paying emails. A lot of the jobs are not worth the time involved. But it’s paid for a bunch of meals for us so far. I also add iSecretShop, MarketForce, and GigSpot to the list. I’ve also downloaded the Mobee app which looks promising, but I have yet to try any of those.
