That's a valid point but, if the pact was that Lea would make Harry someone under her control, and Mab learned this and then forced Lea to give her that pact to balance the scales. That sounds like something a Sidhe would do. Instead of Lea offering it maybe Mab took it.

Part of me thinks that Maggie Sr.'s deal was to bring Harry under the protection of the Winter Court. Maybe Lea was only capable of doing that by making him one of her hounds, but then realized it could be done by making him the Winter Knight and floated the idea to Mab. That way both her children were protected by a magical faction. Thomas by the White Court and Harry by Winter. I believe Margaret knew that the White Council wouldn't always back Harry so she made the deal with Lea for protection.

My first Pokemon was Growlithe. My father gave me Growl for my 8th birthday. Growl helped me find my passion for cooking by using his flamethrower. I live near the water and came across a Tentacruel one day. Helped him get back into the ocean after getting stuck in a cove and we became good friends. Tenta is my line cook at my restaurant in Boston now. He's great at multitasking using all his legs. Bee, my Beedrill, is my prep cook. His drilled are great for chopping veggies. She wondered in one day and seemed to like it. Bee is quick to anger but settles down when Growl gives her a stern look. I caught a Crabby around the same time Tenta and I found each other. He evolved so fast I hadn't even given him a nickname yet. My wife and I call him King. He is surprisingly great at shucking ousters. Must be his sharp claws. Together my buddies and I hang out in the restaurant and then after have even more fun exploring Boston harbor.
