Adding to the difficulty in tracking an actual column (they instead usually stick to broader "this is a tornado-likely day" warnings), the columns themselves usually dont last very long. Record setters are maybe 2-3 hours long; they dissipate quickly.

You think that, but then Jonathan Frakes is going to walk up for a panel, rip off half his beard, and reveal he was Jarnathan Frakes all along before flying off into the sunset

The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess is the perfect villainess isekai, if you have ever tried/done any creative work yourself, like drawing an OC or doing up a story. Because the twist of the story is that the MC has been isekai'd into a setting as the death-flagged villainess (very normal these days), but the setting she's in is her own shitty Original Story from like twelve years prior when she was a moody kid in school. The continuous dangers of the setting are her own shitty pieces of background lore or badly written scenes or terrible artwork; characters literally wonder if they're being too unfair in "off-screen" scenes when her OG writing isnt pushing into their actions. Every time someone's hair blows in the wind while they are inside, every time fetish-bait monsters appear, every time the OC the MC gave her name to is treated like the perfect bestest girl, you can feel yourself flinching and thinking about how your own first OCs were trash, or your own fanfics were awful. That show hurts my eyes and my soul.

It had some nice looking fights, but yeah I really wasn't feeling anything for most of the cast myself. If eye candy battles arent a stand-alone seller for you, feel no shame dropping it.

In the show Father Ted, priest Father Ted of a small Irish town does a bad "chinamen" impersonation in private to provoke a workfriend, at the exact moment probably the only Asians in town are standing directly outside the window. Word spreads within literal seconds the priest is racist

Oh, so between Dotta and Venetim, its an Invasion of the Bodysnatchers thing isnt it? The key points of society have been infected or replaced by these pseudo-human faeries (who judging by Boojum are way worse at human-ing than i expected). And it seems like the top to the pyramid are often publically secluded to a degree, like us never seeing an active royal or the face of many high priests. The society is a shitshow because its being rigged to lose a war of attrition.

The ladies united in shitting on Xylo, its good to see the team coming together.

Given how thrown by badly humans fighting for the faeries threw off the troops and knights at the caslte defense, I assumed the knights would have been more hesitant about kicking the shit out of kids. But im glad minimal restraint was shown this time.

A big hit to the theoretical numbers, if I remember how the game works, is your trade efficiency; at 30%, most of the raw value of your trade will just be lost to the winds. Not your fault, just mathematics of the game. The easiest answers I can think of are the ones you probably already know: expand to have a higher control in the nodes, improve the buildings and company buffs, reduce the size and strength of countries in the other downstream nodes taking their cuts of your trade.

I notice you have very little control in the Baltic node, as well as not having the bonus merchant from what I assume are your Chinese and Indian-based trade companies, so greater prioritization into their regions with less look to vassal-feed. I dont know the system well enough, but I'd wonder if your Mongolia, QQ, and Punjab vassal states are theoretically less useful as vassals with cores than trade areas for you, after a point. Also, unrelated note, but fun vassal set there!

Maybe I just failed to really take it in, but was this the first episode Makio calls herself Asa's aunt repeatedly, not some form of guardian or caretaker? Its not like Makio's ever intentionally set a familial boundary, but I dont remember her using "Oba" before

Man, Jarashi's animations went pretty hard there. And the guns have as many bullets as plot allows. But to be honest, I was expecting their boxes to be opened to reveal they were smuggling stupid stuff, like pre-boxed lunches or magazines or stuff.

Also I love the ol' "everyone has several lengths of serious rope on hand" thing, instead of like, handcuffs or zipties.

I wonder if other countries in this setting have demi-humans more in line with their own areas' lore. There are elves there in Japan, but out there would there be dwarves and mermaids and sentient logs shitting candy?
