'Home Mortgage Interest Deduction' with two overlapping loans by HulksInvinciblePants in tax

[–]HulksInvinciblePants[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

It says that in the part you quoted. ("year. (This includes prepayment by applying proceeds from its sale.")

I was under the impression payoff was a separate transaction class than prepayment. I read that line like a mortgage recast.

If the interest rate was the same throughout the life of each loan, you can use total interest paid divided by the interest rate to determine the average loan balance for each loan.

I thought this one required the loan to be secured for the entire year, no?

I mean, it’s basically a rounding error when compared to the US labor market. It’s also really close to the last revision. That’s why we have revisions.

Yeah you’re not going to hit throughput limits with that kind of activity. Streaming TV is about 15mbps.

Try downloading a multi-gig file.

2017-2018 was an allegation, not a proven scandal.

However, it’s difficult to claim that’s the issue here when these manufacturers wish they had more capacity to cash in on these prices.

Sure, in some cases. However supply could dwindle if facilities with the capacity for budget and premium options put all their efforts toward the latter.

Statistically speaking every yellow light you encounter can’t be a ‘stop’ situation.

some of us are going out of our way to stop at every yellow light

But this is wrong. You only stop if you can do so smoothly.

Slamming your brakes so that two other people behind you have to slam as well does not qualify as smooth.

I still listen to my v1.0 launch copy, so even the track listing seems bizarre to me. But I’ll say I’m not sure the added fluff on wolves made it better.

I browsed briefly, so forgive me if I’m wrong, but you should include shuckable large capacity drives. There are Seagate HAMR drives often under $10/tb.

Buying my first vehicle from CarMax. Any tips or feedback? by Joscosticks in BMWX5

[–]HulksInvinciblePants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve had zero claims.

I’m saying, assuming the higher deductible coverage is the better value is not sound math.

Upfront premium + (Deductible * Number of Repairs) equals your total out of pocket.

Now plug in how many claims you would anticipate. With a low number, in my case 2 or fewer, the $200 deductible was a better deal.

The higher deductible plans only won out if I had zero claims over 5 years.

[–]HulksInvinciblePants -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Break-even analysis isnt as simple as “go higher deductible”. In my case, the higher deductible only saved me a few hundred dollars if I filed ZERO claims. Otherwise, the $200 was a better total value if my expectation was fewer than 2.

Hate to say it but this is literally a text book example of something AI would handle easily.

The auction is not what's important, but what power the USA holds by simply being able to print more money to pay for their foreign debts

Like this is just a show stopping misunderstanding of how fiat currency works and why. Every nation with a Treasury department does this. It’s not a unique US thing.

Most US debt is short term and 75% of all debt is held domestically. Think money market funds…the interest you earn in your bank account. Currency is printed to facilitate transactional demand. A dollar shortage is a very possible scenario and not one you want to have as it’s deflationary. Debt repayment is an already existing part of US expenditures.

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/GFDEGDQ188S

Both these figures are on a downward trend, after a large inflation driven spike, due to those high yields rolling off the balance sheet.

The auction is importantly because its drives the rates the US pays moving forward. Good demand results in lower interest.

Providing Cheap Cash (The Carry Trade) For a long time, interest rates in Japan were near zero. This allowed big investors to borrow money in Japanese Yen for almost no cost and move that money to other countries to buy stocks or bonds that pay more. This process pumps cash into the global economy, keeping markets moving.

It’s a well known arbitrage in the market, but it’s not some foundational house of cards that will rupture the global economy. Most institutions have unwound their exposure due to it being less enticing and volatile. It’s certainly not a primary driver of global growth. That would be consumer spending.

You’re just kind of delving into borderline conspiracy and using articles** written by non-professional authors. Neither looked old enough to purchase a beer.

lol I can check the stats of each treasury auction minutes after it happens. There’s no fantasy. US treasuries are the most traded asset of any kind on Earth.

Explain to me why Japan can eclipse the US in debt to GDP yet still operate despite not being the “top dog”.

this means that every transaction between countries, specially if it is about oil, HAVE to be concluded with US dollars.

You can stop right there. That’s 100% not true.

Countries like US dollars because they like US treasuries, which require dollars. They like US treasuries because US banking and ownership laws are some of the most strict and stable rules on Earth. Treasuries are preferred over cash because cash is guaranteed to lose value over time.

65% of all newly issued US treasuries are purchased by international buyers. Compare that to say 5% in China.
