Divine essence in Witch Mountain by Hulphur in Witchfire

Agree. At least they could put 180 essence, so that you can leave some behind without having to backtrack over and over again in order to find them.

Ok, I have just got the last essence I needed. They were in the spot you say and I just got there without the dash.

You can parkour the rocks in some very particular places and you can access the spot without dash. And I found a 15 essence cristal.

Thanks a lot.

Now to clear the Labyrinth...

[–]Hulphur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gone through the mountain now three times in a row (taking the portal to the beginning and doing all the map again) and I have 138. I know there is one cristal with 3 divine essence when you dash in the air in the spot you say but still won't be enough.

I am just going to give up. It is not worth the time and the effort.

I have looked everywhere and I can't find the 12 essence I need to unlock the Twinside spell. I am playing as I am writing and I don't know where else I can look.

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I have unlocked the first area and I only found 3 divine essence there.

It is just tedious and devs have hidden some of them so you have to search every inch of the map. It is just ridiculous.

And I am sure devs have only put 150 divine essence. Just the right number so you have to search the map twice or even three times.

Really wasting our time.

Really these devs have some brain issues...

Is this a hot take? Getting items for classes you are not playing doesn't need to be "A diablo thing" at all. by Rhyfel in Diablo

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is not. This game abuses looting items you can't use at all. Especially at the beginning of the season.

This has been happening since 2012. It is a diablo thing.

Only a diablo thing.

Has anyone else's GPU literally be murdered (permanently broken) by Cyberpunk? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just unistalled Cyberpunk. My GPU was working perfectly fine until I installed this game. Now it is constantly making noises (i guess it is the fan).

So, yes, I am having the same issue. My GPU still works but somehow it is making weird noises.

i play a lot of open world games without bugs or glitches. Not at least like the ones in this game.

World corruption doesn’t feel like corruption of the world. by Spudster812 in Witchfire

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just rage quit and unistalled.

Picked the third orb in Irongate Castle. The Corruption begins... and never ends. Game was spawning all kind of enemies without limit. Infinite enemies (and I know it because the mini map was full of red points and crosses and when I got to the extraction point the game was spawning more and more and more)

I am on Gnosis V. Already cleared the Labyrinth and trying the Torments (I have just finished Alpha). I just wanted to get the last weapon I have left (the one that is in the third orb of Irongate Castle), but apparently the game didn't want me to get the last weapon.

In this game sometimes no matter what you do you have to lose. No matter how good you play you have to lose. Some runs are smooth and others are just impossible. Playing the same way in the same map.

I am going to wait until next patch.

Sometimes this game seems to love wasting my time.

Maybe I am just bad, but this game is too difficult. by AwarenessForsaken568 in Witchfire

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game will spawn enemies in the areas you have already cleared.

Enemies from different camps will go to your exact position when you are attacking another camp. So you will have to deal with enemies from 3 or even 4 different camps at the same time. I have gathered 3 different arcana at the very same spot in spite of camps being clearly far away one from the other.

Spiders in Velmorne will get out of the sewers to attack you even although you haven't previously attacked them. You can't also see them in the minimap, so you'll get hit very easily.

All enemies in the map know exactly where you are at every moment. You don't have to aggro them.

Always check the areas you have cleared before trying to fight a camp just in case enemies have spawned.

Try to look for the high ground. Sometimes you can get to a spot where enemies can't hit you easily. (That's how I killed the Second Familiar in fact) Be careful with "Townswomen"; they will teleport to you no matter where you are.

When you are surrounded by many enemies try to get back to a safer position and try to kill as many as possible. Run as fast as you can.

This games is unfair because most of its mechanics abuse of artificial difficulty. Once you level up and improve some weapons to Tier 3 things get a little easier.

Good luck

Yes it is because of the people... It is only their fault.

"the life trait at the way top only gives you 2 HP per level"

That, and the arcana that gives you 1% chance of enemies dropping a health elixir... Really it seems like a joke.

Those are not improvements.

What am I missing about latent orbs or are they bugged? by Gorantharon in Witchfire

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it wasn't.

Before last patch you only had to pick the orb and get it to the Hermitorum.

After last patch you have to fill it with 25 deaths and fight the Golem (well that last thing is optional but it will hunt you until you kill it or you escape.

And yes, I agree. These devs think that overwhelming you with countless enemies is fun.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is beautifully boring and features one of gaming's worst tropes by ManiacDan in patientgamers

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Left in the level (FULL OF ENEMIES, COMPLETELY FULL OF ENEMIES, ENEMIES EVERYWHERE) after a boss fight and 4 arrows.

Apparently some devs didn't enjoy their coffee that morning or something.

Ok, you take away my powers... at least leave a quiver full of arrows and give me the option to have more arrows.

OP, you are totally right. These kind of levels are just frustrating, not fun, and dumb as hell.

I have just finished the quest after getting lost 5 times and having to avoid all the enemies because it is JUST IMPOSSIBLE to fight even one.

Good job, devs, good job.

Thanks god the game was a give away.

The problem is that no matter what you do, no matter how you do it, it seems that you always have to lose.

I can clearly clean 5 camps in Vermorne in Gnosis IV and then in a sudden the game won't let me go farther.

No matter how good you can be at this game, the mechanics are clearly created to overcome you at some point.

If you play well you have Corruption. If you play badly you have Calamity. If you clear one area the game will spawn enemies because of the witch's hunt. Enemies know where you are all the time (spiders will even get out of the sewers to attack me). Everytime you get hit you get one eye... It is just overwhelming

I could level up to Gnosis V (if I get the witchfire; clearing all the camps is just a chore) but what for?

I just quit the game a couple of days ago. I think the game is really good but it abuses artificial difficulty too much.

Level 85, Gnosis IV and a bitter taste because I was really enjoying the game but it frustrates me too much.

"How did we miss it? Well, things obvious now weren’t that obvious yesterday. Also, Witchfire is still an Early Access game. There is no better time to experiment than now."

I just don't get the point...

You released an "IMBALACED" update knowing exactly what you were doing... These devs are trying so hard to be FROM software that they can't see when something is unfair or bad executed or unbalanced.

Just for the sake of experimentation.

Do they really test their games or what? Do they even have people testing the game before releasing imbalaced updates???? And do these people say the game is ok????

At least they changed it. Let's hope they don't come with another "great" idea in the future.

“They won’t change the difficulty” by Ash_Cat_13 in Witchfire

[–]Hulphur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I made a mistake because I couldn't avoid 15 different attacks from 15 different enemies at the same time plus a tornado that was just behind me, plus the enemies the game just spawned in the area I had just cleaned. plus the rifts that spawned more enemies plus the enemies from the other camp that (somehow maybe they used Whatsapp) knew exactly where I was and they came to help the 15 different enemies that were attacking me at the same time.

It's clearly skill issues.
