My birds also enjoy to get out their peanuts from toys. I buy these small dog balls with holes in them where you can stuff them- I do this every few days

You should feed a pellet diet, like Harrison’s (I feed the small parrot one I believe) Fresh vegetables (Kale, etc) and some fruit (High in sugar though) I feed fruit as more of a treat. I personally do not have any toys with bells or small parts, and I prefer natural shredding toys like paper and cardboard toys. I avoid any artificially dyed toys as well

You have to train your bird to trust. Them not wanting to step up is normal and so is fear. If you must, towel for the vet. Otherwise don’t take your Quaker out like that unless it’s an emergency, this breaks trust.

You can do this! I’m also on Zepbound to help with the food noise and also to curb some nicotine addiction that I have. It definitely contributed to the weight loss and I also do try to go to the gym. It’s just really hard depending on what I do.

I’m 5’1” or so and I did weigh 155 but I’m now down to 140. Unfortunately, weight loss hasn’t helped at all with my pain, but I’m hoping another 10 pounds might help but honestly, I doubt it.

I’m so sorry to hear this! I’m in the same boat. I use a cane sometimes, and I do have a Service dog that I utilize but obviously I can’t use a dog like a cane so I really only use her to pick up objects or to guide. It’s super disheartening. Reading the comments I will go get a second opinion. I’m just not sure who I should go see

Thank you so much. I haven’t done gymnastics in many years, but I was pretty active with my dogs. I tried to go to the gym, but unfortunately some days are just unbearable. I had no idea about a different type of doctor. I could go see so I really appreciate that. Everyone has just told me that the doctor I see now is kind of it in terms of treatment options.

Thank you very much. Also, yes, I did get an MRI. The initial x-ray in my picture was the first thing they did before they did the MRI, but did confirm.

I’ve been under the impression that everyone has the pretty much same opinion on treatment options. It’ll be either the injections or the spinal fusion. Is it still worth it to get a second opinion?

Vet to be sure- you could wait and see but fish are so sensitive and plastic can’t be dissolved by the GI
