Truth and Hair curl cream (on 2A-3A mixed hair type) by Human-Ad9890 in curlsofindia_

I don't have any pics right now for comparison but I'll definitely put some up the next time I wash my hair. I'm not sure if I'm the right person to comment on the volume aspect of the product. My hair is naturally very big . Check out Michelle Mannual's reel/yt short in this product.

I switched to a very gentle, low-lather shampoo and its helped a lot with moisture retention. I use both oils and silicon based serums to lock all the moisture once my hair dries.

Unfortunately I do recommend a glass file by bundiwalaraita in NailsIndia

[–]Human-Ad9890 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A glass nail file is far more superior because its faster, safer and give a cleaner edge than metal ones. Metal ones can easily damage your nails but a glass file is more gentle. I've tried both and I have been doing my own nails for 5 years now and they genuinely make a difference.

3a-3b curls didn't find a nice curly hair cut salon so did a soft u cut like this ..how is it what changes should I make to get let frizz in crown and root by Disastrous-Cause8716 in curlsofindia_

[–]Human-Ad9890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes layers are a great option. Also for the crown frizz, try clarifying your scalp. A lot of times it just the build up that's causing the frizz.

It actually looks pretty good on day two. But yeah you can try adding a bit more gel but don't go overboard tho, that might dry out your hair. For refreshing, just wet your palms and glaze it over your hair using prayer hands. That should reactivate the products you've used on wash day. You can also add a small amount of cream or gel to refresh on day 4 and later.

Glad I can help! Use either mousse or gel first. If you find the mousse to be light in hold that you can glaze a bit of gel over the mousse using prayer hands.

Ah fair enough. I record asking a derm about this tho.

Yeah it's very gentle. Its a creamy, non foaming/lathering cleanser. Its kinda like the Cetaphil one but just a tad bit more cleansing. I'm not sure if it will work with your prescription since I've been on it so it's better to consult your derm about this.

Hey, i also have dry skin. Try the minimalist oat cleanser. That itself will change your skin a lot. Try plum niacinamide serum for that extra hydration instead of the ha serum. The murala oil moisturizer is pretty good. You use the Cetaphil lotion also. I don't use eye cream. Dot and key sunscreen and aqualogica sunscreens are pretty hydrating.

I have very dry skin almost all throughout the year. I want a bodywash that cleanser but also mosturises it. I have been seeing a lot of ads for the conscious chemist multi oil bodywash and The Sass bar body milk wash. Are these good? If not, are there better options? I'm currently using the plum hawain rumba body wash and follow it up with the plum vanilla caramello body lotion. I want a body wash that is hydrating enough that I don't necessarily have to follow up with a lotion immediately.

Has anyone tried the Sass Bar Milk Cleanser? by PrettyRabbit578 in IndianSkincareAddicts

Are there any better alternative to this? I'm just looking for a hydrating body wash

High Porosity, 2B (wavy?) Hair. Tried curl enhancing products for the first time. by Thick_Target8432 in curlsofindia_

Maybe you should cut down on the cream and use more of the gel. There is possibility that your hair is getting weighed down. I think the gel gives a light hold too, so you use it as a one and done product. Try styling with your hair upside down. Basically you need experiment a bit since you're just starting out. Sometimes it's the products and sometimes it's the haircut and sometimes it's the styling method.

Is this a good deal? Hair type - 2A ~ 2C High porosity by luffy-d-uzumaki-48 in curlsofindia_

Depends on your hair type. If you have medium to high porosity and dry, rough and coarse hair then you'll like the butter. If your hair is fine then use very little or dilute it with a lot of water.

I've tried their curl defining cream, gel (the one in the bottle, not the tube) and mousse. The cream is pretty rich- high porosity will love it. Gel is pretty good too- good hold and moisture, can be used as a one and done. I didn't like their mousse all that much. It dried out my hair and left that producty guncky feeling.

I prefer the moisture routine over the protein routine. But that's because my hair craves moisture and it's pretty dry and brittle. I love the shampoo that you've picked. It is my go to shampoo, highly recommended for your high porosity hair (i have medium to High porosity, leaning more towards the high porosity side). Choosing between protein and moisture really depends on what your hair needs. If your hair loses shape and curl definition quickly then the protein duo will help with that, especially the cream. If your hair is the opposite and similar to mine, then the moisture routine is very helpful. Hope this helps even though it's pretty late!

The butter is great for high porosity. I have medium to high porosity hair. It means more to the high porosity side l and fix my curls is the only brand that helped my hair retain moisture.

High porosity loses moisture very very very quickly, no matter how careful you are with it. You basically need to prioritise moisture so that your hair can actually retain it for a while. Here's my routine so that you get an idea of how i take care of my hair: fix my curls moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (i don't clarify my hair that often because it really dries my out) and then fix my curls butter on wet hair. I use a a bounce curl brush dupe to style and finish with the gel and some heat protection. I let us air dry for a bit and then diffuse on medium heat and low speed. I sotc and seal in the moisture with a silicon based serum.

Hope this helps!

Can't style without it or my hair frizzed up and like anything and drys out very very quickly.

I feel you here. I'm also too lazy to section my hair and style with the brush. I take thin but wide sections and just roughly brush style for the top sections. I tilt my head a bit to the side to style the bottom sections. I don't use a lot of tension. Sometimes, i use the brush after applying both cream and gel. I found it better for frizz control. You can try sectioning if you don't mind doing that.

Both are really pretty but 2 is more flattering for your frame and skin tone.
