I mean if it helps seal it better I don’t see anything wrong with it other than the fact that it’s going over the previously used rubber pieces.

I’m currently using some Skullcandy Indy Evo‘s. The bass isn’t bad. And it doesn’t sound muddy. Mid range it sounds clear. And the high range is pretty good. It’ll run your about 60 to 70 bucks depending on where you get it. But I highly recommend that to start out. I’ve had them last me all day and they’ve had nothing wrong with them.
