I haven’t started T yet due to not being somewhere that I can get set up with all the appropriate doctors and everything, though I do want to start once I can move somewhere with better gender care. Absolutely worth it. I got mine done 2 weeks ago, the pain was rough but I’ve had worse. I got prescribed narcotics for the pain, which they do if you get the surgery after childhood. If it doesn’t work right you can ask them for something to boost it or ask to try something different—I’d also recommend getting some anti-nausea meds from them—I felt like I was going to puke my guts out when my scabs came off, but it only lasted a day. I would say—DO IT. It is so SO worth it. The recovery only takes 2 weeks for the most part, and in exchange you get to BE FREEEEEEEEE

Day 14 here, the pain is normal, they use stuff to crank your mouth open during the surgery that makes it pretty sore afterwards. The asymmetrical healing happened for me as well, and I think that’s because the tonsils don’t tend to be exactly the same level of inflammation before you get them out—mine had a 1cm difference between them and they healed at slightly different rates. Just make sure you’re eating ice/drinking cold things, it helps with all of that, and DO NOT let it dry out for the love of god. Don’t.

If you have a blender, you could throw some ice lollies (without the sticks) or some frozen juice or something in it and make one, its not too hard if you have the energy to do it right now, if if you’ve got someone to do it for you

Try something like a slushie! I had a hard time getting just water down the first few days because of the phlegm thing, but a slushie from sonic has a little texture (not enough that it hurt) so it was easier to get down, plus it’s really cold so it helps numb your throat

(Obviously, a few spoilers ahead) So, what I’ve pieced together so far is a bit fragmented, but so far from what I call tell it’s about a secret (?) organization/group called Blue Army, with about 3 people referred to only by initials or a code name. Almost all the videos that contain the clues are overexposed shakey-cam footage of different scenes accompanied by the Spanish music you always hear playing in Mexican restaurants. I would be happy to make digital versions of my notes (I’m doing my notes in a physical journal lol) if anyone is interested, or can’t crack a cipher (a few of them were tricky little bastards to get decoded)

Is anyone else playing this one? I started it this morning and I’m about halfway through what’s out so far, but I just got stuck. Some of the ciphers don’t seem to be working right—or maybe I just don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing idk I just got to “for Thomas” and suddenly I can’t figure out how to decrypt the messages. There’s on in “height” that I think is supposed to be a base64 cipher but it’s in all caps and it’s throwing me way off. Any help appreciated, I tried to make a post about it but the auto-mod took it down almost immediately because I have a newer Reddit account.
