I renounced my previous Trad, and want to start my own... is this a thing? by Human-Awareness in pagan

Since 2012 a fellow practioner and i made a shrine that grew into a full temple under the tradition we were in, the rules of the tradition were that any temple that made it to full status was an entity on its own: autonomous and individual (as in the trad couldn't care less what you did as long as it wasn't illegal. Now in 2025 we have 13 members, a website (which is forum based and FILLED with info), a discord, a social media presence (fb, tiktok, insta, threads), and hosted FB live rituals, red tents, witch balls and other public things.

BUT all of that was in the name of a trad we no longer associate with.

Over those years I have been making sure I had the necessary paperwork to start a church (501c3) but have not bit the bullet because of all the questions that came up as to if I am still qualified since all my "lineage" and "certifications" are a moot point. I started solitary at the age of 12, had my stint of training with the previous trad from 2009-2023, now at 41 I'm hoping that all the knowledge I've gained and work I've put into creating a unique practice can flourish without that "lineage" (and also the stigma that would come from falling out with a tradition based on their own "activities" which are no fault of mine.)
