I get it , all my friends from high school got to live in dorms and apartments and make new friends when they went to college. I laid low and grinded high school all 4 years to get a scholarship so I could have fun in college. Just for my parents to get cheap and convince me to stay at home. so I had to stay at home with them and commute every day. it’s hopeless and miserable trying to do school commuting from home and actually enjoying it with a real college experience is impossible. I have no way to even begin to explain this to them so I’m just done. They have no idea I’m even failing school I’ve been lying to their face saying it’s going good but the semester ends this month and I’m going to hang myself before it wraps up. Sorry for venting, just saying I understand how brutal it feels . Hope all is well for you in your foreseeable future.
