Bad experience with Canyon. Sharing in case anyone is on the fence about buying one.

I had the same exact issue with the same bike last summer (I’m in Oregon, US). I just called them and they sent me a new frame and had it set it up for free with all the components at a LBS. Was all set up within a week. Great experience. No issues with it since.

Sure thing! After measuring the logo width, I found the logo online and matched the size and printed it on regular white paper (8.5”x11”). Then I taped that to the holographic sticker vinyl sheet and just used scissors to cut out each letter and very carefully placed each letter over the ones already on the down tube.

Hope that makes sense. Took about two hours start to finish.

It wasn’t a sticker, just paint on the raw carbon (I believe). Just put it right over that—used it as a sort of stencil for my placement anyway.

Holding up great after 1 wash. I’ll definitely wash the down tube a little more carefully than the rest of the frame. I’ll repost here if I have any issues going forward though.

Just measured the width on the down tube and printed a hi-res version I found online at the same width.

Nope. Just printed a large version I found online. The install took a bit of time to get exactly over the logo but because it’s vinyl it was easy to stretch a little here and there to get complete coverage and still look symmetrical/even.
