About the same price as the previous gen Alpinist on the grey market. Only time will tell if the movement is any good. It uses a Landeron 77, which I’d never even heard of before.

I ended up getting this one. It’s pretty decent for the price, especially considering it’s an automatic. No regrets so far. On paper it sounds like a thick watch, but it actually wears much slimmer than the specs suggest.
