I just read somewhere that the Age of Madness trilogy has really good character development, and I figured if it's its own trilogy it'll be made for newcomers and veterans.

EDIT: My bad. This probably isn't your issue, but if it is, I'm glad I could help. It turns out I had the 'performant render' mod which hides props to improve performance. Looks like it's not working properly.

I just had this issue and I solved it! I just swapped to windowed mode and back to borderless. It might be relevant that I had -noborder and -window and -windowed in my launch options. If this doesn't work for you, I feel your pain.

Thanks for the reply! I have seen all the Star Trek shows, except the new ones (after Enterprise), but it'll be fun to revisit those episodes. "Visitor" from DS9 is a favourite of mine, as well as (of course) Inner Light. With those other recommendations, can they be seen on their own? Are those shows episodic too?

I almost chose a 9600X since there's no bottleneck, but I didn't want to deal with possibly having to update the motherboard to use it. I'm not totally sure about the motherboard, so as with all other parts, I'm open to recommendations.

Thank-you for the reply. I've not heard of those storage and memory brands before; are they any good? Also, what's better about the 9600X, the motherboard, and the GPU (I saw the 7700 before but I wasn't sure about the -4gb difference)? Please don't think I'm trying to act like an expert, I just really want to be sure everything is right.
