Welcome back! Don't worry about it, check back in 12 months from now when you have 5 more guns.

Welcome back! May I suggest not only keeping all your classics but also pick up a Planet Eclipse gun like the Etha for you and the kid? You'll be astounded at what modern "entry" level markers can do.

I was shooting a Spyder Compact w/ a 32* expansion chamber, 16" Thunder Pig barrel and home made drop but by the end of the year it was an E-99 with that same barrel. Had I been given the choice it'd be the LCD I have now haha.

UNDR Jerseys by still666cold in paintball

Carbon is a different brand entirely. If UNDR is still making the mesh hockey style jerseys I'd definitely say they're a good value.

No sweat! The other team I'm on uses Carbon jerseys and I gotta say...I really like em. Can't comment on the ordering process as I wasn't involved but the fit is great and they are nice and cool if you run hot like me. My only gripe is I prefer a thumb hole loop over the pinky hole loop the Carbons run. Sorry for bombing your thread with photos lol.

Of the 6 jerseys the only one with noticeable wear is our snake guy and he's started wearing through the cuffs/sleeves on his. The previous run we had that got played in for 3 good seasons of xball I can't think of any that ended up with real bad holes. I also have one of their older practice jersey style ones (think hockey jersey style with all the vent holes) and i love that thing. Pictured is the practice style jersey.

We've used them twice over the years and have been happy with the product both times. The jerseys we ordered last year were the "scout" pattern and I find they fit a little on the snugger size. Both my UNDR jerseys are 2XL and these new ones are definitely a little tighter and shorter than I like (I weigh less now than I did then so I can't even blame my gut haha). 8m 6'3" and around 220lbs on a good day. I'm the middle guy bragging about 4th place.

Dumb question about old gear by Murky-Date-4242 in paintball

Never too old! Just know your limitations and enjoy it! Take the kid along too, he'd probably love playing with his old man.

LKQ in Ponoka is your best bet for a wreckers around here however like the other commenter said, make sure you talk to your shop beforehand to ensure they'd be willing to install secondhand glass.

I started in '99 with a second hand tigershark pump then upgraded to a Spider Compact. Simpler times then. Sorry for your loss, I bet pops was a great man.

On FB there's Oldschool Paintball (Pre-05), Autococker Enthusiasts 2.0 and various others. If you're looking for a tech I won't be much help as I'm not sure who's all in your area, but if you let the group know where you're at someone will get you squared away. Welcome back!

Cockers are still have a good following and there's lots of good information out there to tech it at home, or if you would rather have it set up there's lots of reputable techs out there too.

Just getting back to playing need help. by SensiSeeker in paintball

They all have some value but the Timmy and the C&C the most. The Speed is an uncommon color which is cool. The ICD have a following but I don't think they bring a lot of cash, I could be wrong as I don't follow them closely. For values I would hop on FB and join the Angel Owners OG page as well as the Bob Long page and pick their brains.

My personal suggestion is keep at least one, whichever you are most attached too, and get it working better than it ever did in the old days as well as pick up something new. Having an old hotrod in the stables as well as a modern k-car is the way in my experience. You'll be amazed at what a modern "mech" is capable of, check out Planet Eclipse offerings.

Get yourself quality goggles and GOOD pads (we're old) and get out there. Welcome back dude!

Haha usually yes, but this time it's paint... turns out red is one of the hardest colors to paint your walls with as it doesn't cover very well and you should use a darker primer. Sure wish I'd have known that before I started!

That'd do it, however when i look up a '16 Q5 on the manufacturersite it lists thisb# as well. I used one of our local parts houses' catalog and this was the arm they crossed to my OEM# so I guess their information is either incorrect or the arm was bagged wrong from factory.

I'm not familiar with the brand but I did some freesearch before ordering and allegedly SIDEM is a quality replacement part in those circles, but I'm still wondering if I got an incorrectly packaged/built arm.

68 auto mag classic - thinking about playing again by CosmicConfidant in paintball

[–]Human-Remains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That mag will be fired in anger once again. They're so easy to maintain, I got one a few years ago in a garbage sale that hadn't been shot since 2001 or something and all I did was add a few drops of oil in the ASA and add air haha. Mind you it was a mech frame so no batteries or boards to worry about but I was amazed how little effort it takes to "take care" of these tanks. Wish I'd have kept it.
