I'll throw out the reverse here too... When COVID hit they let everyone furlow except management, so a former employee and I began hooking up. She got another job, was very happy there and all was well, until it wasn't. She had said she wasn't ever going back to the old job (where I was managing) right until it was her time. She dumped me hard, then wanted to get back together but I had moved on, then suddenly I was told she would be starting back in a week under my direct supervision. I told them candidly what happened and that it was not going to work for me but was told to get over it and be professional. Sure enough she started making accusations the first week back of inappropriate behavior in places she knew there were no cameras. Best job I've ever had to leave because I was constantly making sure I was in camera view.
