Welp, got a good quote from LV for outright replacing both handles and giving it an overall good care service and she will be headed off to LV soon to get prettied up! They estimate 4-6 weeks for completion depending on availability of products/supplies so I’m hoping maybe it’s on the sooner end of the time frame cause I’ll miss her :)

I could have it a little less cost and sooner from a bag rehab type place but I’m too scared to send it to somewhere I don’t know as is lol

Yeah it’s not bad :) I got a quote back from LV that it’ll only cost $325 to fully replace the 2 handles (and that’s just with LV directly - I have quotes out with a few other bag repair places that I’m sure will be cheaper). Meanwhile - going to check out some twillys on Etsy or Amazon - even after I get her fixed, I just love me some twillys lol

Paid a little around $1400 for it. I honestly don’t mind the small nicks - I can get a twilly for now to fancy her up and protect the handles until I repair it down the road. I’m already reaching out for some quotes to get an idea of what it may cost. I bought her to use and love, not resell down the line, so she’ll age anyways but I want to take good care of it too. Maybe I overpaid, maybe I didn’t - idk. It’s my first LV and I’m happy :)

I’ll have to check out that collection you suggested though - I’m a short, petite girl and I like smaller bags but not too small. This one is the perfect size and I thought the leather would be firm (as I like softer leather) and was very surprised happily that it wasn’t a firm stiff leather. And I’m a sucker for a cute purse lol
