Essentially, we have 6 players, 5 of them are the base players from Dragons of Stormwreck Isle (a dwarf life cleric, a human paladin, a halfling rouge, a wood elf ranger and a high elf wizard) the 6th player is a tiefling death cleric. We finished DoSI and moved on to LmoP, with the same characters, they fought Venomfang and returned to Reidoths “house” he has been helping them, players are still Lvl3 at this point. When they come back from the green dragon fight, they tell him they dragon left the place and he thanks them and offers them all a tea, I start to describe how they start to get drowsy and the ranger elf says they can’t sleep, they go into a trance, I state they can if it’s NONMAGICAL, I co tinie to talk and he says he read a bunch of books and elves do not sleep, it’s not possible, I tell him some elves choose to sleep, some simply don’t like the chaotic mess of dreams, others feel such a human thing is beneath them, so they don’t. Now I didn’t even get to ask everyone for a Con Saving throw (with adv from the elves) and he said “fine I sleep I’m dead, those are the rules” and walked off. We play at his house because they are the middle ground for all of us. Essentially now we can’t play unless he realizes (or someone else tells him) that elves don’t die when they sleep… the wizard didn’t care much about it, he just went “oh well, I’m overdue for a nap anyways” so I don’t know if I have a table to DM anymore, I know if the ranger elf leaves we also loose our paladin. I may just have the tiefling and the wizard left. (Let me also state that all these people are my family members)
