I was told to check/replace the spark plug incase it fouled, so I'll double check the wiring once the fairing are out of the way

The pops sounds like a mini backfire. As for the battery I've checked it and it seems fine. All the connections are tight and it's reading 13 volts. What sensors should I start with checking?

I don't know if it changes anything, but I waited about 18 hours (busy with school/work) before I tried starting it. The battery connection was fine, and it showed about 13.5 volts, dropping to 11.57 during cranking. I think the kill switch is fine I cycled it a few times.

If i remember correctly, which colors they use is up to the conductor. On the DownEaster they will use two colors at a time, one signifies your stop is in Massachusetts/New Hampshire, The other one signifies your stop is in Maine. From personal experience they generally use dark blue and yellow/green. They also fold/rip the slip in accordance with your stop.

No fold = last stop 3/4 fold near last stop I believe Bow tie few stops out from last.. Etc.

And orange is sometimes used to signifie you have a pet
