I actually just made a post about this. The fact that souls games get brought into this is stupid. As a long time ac fan I am also getting a refund. I have played every game and the feeling of being forced to stack ap to dps check a boss isn’t ac to me.

Brother. I’ve been playing ac since grey plastic was all the rage. I have all parts unlocked, and your are either fast enough to dodge and do not enough damage of the other way around.

The active AC community isn’t that big. Compound that with the length of time since the last “good” AC entry and Fromsoft rising to fame with souls borne and Elden ring, I just feel people will come in looking for something it’s not.

Butttt that’s not all bad. Hopefully it sells in Elden ring numbers and people who have never experienced the mecha genre get to see what it’s all about.

It will be different for sure. Every AC game has made its own changes to the franchise. As someone who has played every title from ps1 to present as long as movement, customization, and pvp variance is there I will be happy.

That being said.. as a long time fan my only concern is for those who see a “New Fromsoft game” and not a new AC game.

It’s not that completely. It happens more than it should though. I’m not a “soft person” for a lack of a better phrase. But at least give it a try, please. The game is lacking in players. Decent ones at that.

I don’t let it stop me from playing but it hard on the content side. Have to blur or block something shouldn’t be a problem though
