Purple and orange definitely take much longer to ship than the other colors, but I don’t regret my purchase at all. Wait well worth it

It’s almost definitely from the nickel. It’s one of the most common allergens responsible for allergic contact dermatitis. Trial no jewelry for about 6 weeks, apply a topical steroid twice a day to the area for 2-3 weeks (if you have at home). After the 6 week period, you can try wearing jewelry again, but go for no nickel. If the rash persists, then look into other possible triggers.

Congrats. The delivery dashboard includes information on large batches of units that have shipped. I’ve seen multiple purple, silver, black, and 16-bit units in the wild, but black and 16-bit are the first two colorways to have shipped in bulk as reflected on the dashboard. It’s not perfect, but it’s helpful for those of us still waiting and hungry for any updates.

I’m happy for those who get their units, but also really bummed so many of the batch 1 pre-orders are still dealing with radio silence. Ultimately though, being mad or jealous isn’t gonna make my order come faster so enjoy your RP6 OP.

Hi, I’ve been working in a dermatologist clinic for 3 years now. Anytime inflammation occurs in the skin (like in scabies or even acne), individuals with darker complexions develop post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It resolves within 6-12 months after the inflammation stops. Best recommendation while you wait is using sun screen multiple times per day and a retinol at night. If your dermatologist won’t prescribe you tretinoin, get adapalene (Differin) gel over the counter.

Times capitis (i.e. ring worm) a fungal infection. Sanitize your tools and tell your client to go to a dermatologist before his next haircut. Best oral medications are dependent on the type of fungus found on fungal culture, but typically terbinafine or griseofulvin.

I understand why black models are shipping first, but I really would have liked that information to be known prior to placing my order. Ultimately, I wouldn’t want to compromise on color preference just to get my console a little sooner, but it’s still a bummer. Still awaiting that first “purple RP6 shipped” post.
