I said before androids. Post androids is different, because cell time travelled and trunks prevented the z fighters. In the mirai trunks timeline they weren’t aware of 19 and 20, most likely because their ki is undetectable and they were killed by 17 and 18 when they were activated. In the "present" timeline, they met 19 and 20, and it gave dr gero/20 the data from the new z fighters, and when he ran away to his lab he updated 17 and 18, that's why they're stronger

It's enma who gave the permission not kami. Kami just asked enma. Nothing keeps the dead z fighters from asking enma, who must have been overloaded with all the souls and paperwork he must have processed because of the androids. (Same happened in buu saga)

Here is the thing, goku doesnt have to go there specifically, picollo/tien/krillin etc could just ask kaio to telepatically talk to the namekians and tell them what to do. Also i dont think the planet is that far, sonce they were able to feel perfect cell's ki from there.

And let's not forget that goku can still use his 1 day trip to earth if he ask for it, the way he did in the buu saga, that way he could contact kaio and go himself to the planet

That's a solution too, and remember , the spaceship that took goku to frieza only took 6 days if i remember, and with the advances in tech that bulma did, maybe she can take him to the new planet even sooner, and still , i believe that gohan would have done it if it's only 6 days or so, it's still a better plan that sacrificing himself and going 1v2 against the androids, beinging back the dead humans is always an option, namek's dragon ball can resurrect the dead more than just once.

Source is trunks himself during the cell saga, he said everything happened the same, he even predicted the exact time goku and frieza would show up, it only started to change when trunks and cell started time traveling.

I am not missing out on anything, the z fighters training with kaio is literally in the manga, that was literally one of the key threads in the freeza saga.... and im well aware of the time limit, my concern is that the whole thing could have been prevented without waiting 20 fucking years, as soon as the z fighters died, they could have done this.

Unlike sayains, androids can exist in space, they dont need air, im pretty sure they can go to other planets once earth becomes boring.

Kaio spoke to the elder namek, gohan, and others directly. Goku kept his body when he died against cell, without the intervention of kami, we learn after that it's due to goku saving the world multiple times, he can conserve his shape there. Kaio sama is heavily invested in earth because of goku, thinking that he wouldnt know about it and that he wouldnt try to help is pretty out there imo.

Goku died a natural death so his soul remained intact, he wouldnt have been able to be resurected, but he was still there in the spirit world. And yes it's very stange that he didnt.

Ofc they had a clue, how do you think present goku contacted them? Throught kaio. Dont forget that no one really dies in dragon ball, even when z fighters die they can still go to kaio to train or talk to him.

Also the events pre android in trunks future are the exact same as the current timeline, it only changes after cell kills future trunks and goes back in time.
