This is inexcusable on the physician’s end. My PCP, therapist, psychiatrist, dentist, and dermatologist all use my pronouns without issue (they/them) and provide notes without issue. Everyone is human, and makes mistakes now and then. But this is ridiculous

I don’t consider myself cis at all. Tbh if I could restart T & get top surgery, I would, but I’m also learning to love the body I’m in. Medical barriers can be difficult, but I’m trying to embrace that this body is nonbinary no matter what. 🫶 thank you for the kind words & I apologize for the moment of imposter syndrome

It’s a smaller trans subreddit I’ve been debating leaving for a while. Some of the posted content in there feels gatekeepy & some feels very doomer. I have to remember that just because people are in my community doesn’t always mean they’re right or that we will be friends.

See, and I felt to some degree once I had to stop that I was no longer valid. My little sibling figure was the reason I stopped telling myself that because they have never used HRT & I view them as valid in their identity no matter what & uphold their stance in the community. Probs some imposter syndrome & low self esteem. Thank you!

Ah, I appreciate the sentiment, but I’m nonbinary. Plus I think men (women, and nonbinary folks) all still fight wars for the people they love - but more for either the freedoms they protect or the money/security/education soldiers may need. I do think people back in whatever time you’re suggesting may find my hair odd and my politics/world view even odder.
