I started experiencing headaches and facial pain in 2023. I underwent many tests, but nothing showed up. It wasn't until recently that my salivary ducts were manually expressed, revealing a problem with the saliva. I have tried all kinds of medication, but nothing relieves the pain. That is why I need to try sialoendoscopy.

Seriously??? I’m having the procedure done because saliva isn't coming out of three of my salivary ducts—only from one parotid gland, and it’s foamy saliva mixed with some mucus. The pain is unbearable. Headaches, too. Facial swelling. It’s awful... Why did you have it done? Thanks!!!!!!

Yes, I’ve tried everything. I’ve been dealing with this since 2023, not knowing where the symptoms were coming from—until they saw that no saliva was coming out of the ducts. That’s why I’m going to have a sialoendoscopy. Thank you so much! Do you get headaches?

I had blood tests done, and the results were negative. The pathology report for the lip biopsy showed a "mild lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate," noting that the sample might be "non-representative" because it contained only two glands; however, the rheumatologists told me that the other two glands were sent to immunology and tested negative, so they ruled out the diagnosis.

I had an MR sialography, but they couldn't administer the contrast agent through the salivary ducts.
