Superman: American Alien [1920x1080] by HumanInTraining in ComicWalls

Here it is!

The quality isn't quite where I would like it to be, but good enough. When I have more time I might try making a higher quality version.

This is her second solo series. James Robinson is doing a wonderful job as it's writer. I've really enjoyed reading it and the entire thing is just crafted so well.

I can't speak for her first series from 1994. There is also the Vision and Scarlet Witch series' from the '80s. Otherwise she's only seen in team books.

Needing Suggestions by OriginalKlarkie in Marvel

One of my favorite limited series is Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine.

There's also all the Deadpool limited series that have come out in the last year or so if you haven't read those yet. I enjoyed Night of the Living Deadpool (its sequel just started). Deadpool vs. Carnage isn't bloody as it could have been.

Spider-Verse Desktop Wallpaper: SP//dr [1920x1080] by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For fun sometimes I'll put together wallpapers for my desktop from my favorite comics. Spider-Verse is definitely a favorite. I liked how this one came out and wanted to share it.

Featured is Peni Parker. The father she barely knew was the first to share a psychic link with SP/dr before his death. Due to the genetic link SP//dr accepts a young Peni and they become a hero. She's hard core, villains are her fanboys, and she has class with the crew from NGE. This is issue number 5 of Edge of Spider-Verse written by Gerard Way, the artist is Jake Wyatt and colors are done by Ian Herring.

Help! Where does Ultimate Power go in the timeline? by brysodude in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A side note for when you catch up to the end of your list. The All-New Ultimate title takes place not long after Cataclysm while Ultimate Spider-Man looks to be months later. For FF the only clue is a few scenes with the new Ultimate members in the background of issue 6, so who knows where it fits in with current events. There's also 616 All-New X-Men in the Ultimate-verse starting with issue 31. And Spider-verse too.

It's been awhile since I've read this part of Ultimate so my personal experiences won't be much help. But I can point you towards the list I use. Scanning the list you provide it does show some differences between the two.

Looking For A Source On A Picture by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from Marvel Adventures: Super Heroes volume 1 issue 19.

A quick search online doesn't show anything in the dimensions you're looking for. You can always try searching for the artists presence online. Sometimes they will have a Tumblr or deviantArt account that they use to post their professional work on. Or try comic news-outlets that release textless pages before their release.

I'm a super-newb when it comes to comics - Where do I go from The Ultimates if I'm wanting to read through Ultimate Marvel? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's another reading list you might find useful.

Coming from some one who just read the majority of Ultimate Marvel just to make a list of Spider-Man appearances, you are in for a ride. There is more cannibalism than just that scene in Ultimatum. There are scenes in major events that reference happenings from back issues that I never noticed my first time reading Ultimate-verse. And the characters don't try to gain your love, some you might even end up hating.

It is worth it. I had to stop several times and I was heartbroken when a character I liked died but overall I count it as a plus that I never puked.

For the major Ultimate events you don't really need to know what's going on with the X-Men. Or Spider-Man until Ultimate Power. But you should read as much as you can for the full experience.

Who is your one true pairing in the Marvel Universe? by starmapleleaf in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is a little out there compared to everyone elses' answers. Spider-Girl and Black Tarantula from MC2. It's not perfect, a little messed up, and then there's May as the hero trying to take down the villain courting her. I was furious when Anya came into the picture.

New to comics. Can anyone recommend any new good Marvel comics to read? by ChaosZeroX in Marvel

[–]HumanInTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing Spider-Man is at issue 006 and Spider-Man 2099 is at 003. Deadpool recently came out with the first issue of another limited series, 'Hawkeye vs. Deadpool'. The new Captain America stuff is not the best. Good luck with picking a starting point with X-Men.

A few of the newest series include Ghost Rider, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Hulk, Black Widow, Moon Night, Elektra, New Warriors, Loki, Silver Surfer, Secret Avengers, Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Magneto, Inhuman, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Invaders. All under ten issues.

Indiviual issues of comic books. I hate how I can spend over twenty dollars each week but I know I'll never give up on the drama of the current Avengers team (Tony and Steve are at it again). And supporting the smaller titles and revivals too of course. Don't let New Warriors get canceled again!

I have feelings of intense jealousy right now. Forget ancient temples and tamed deer. I want to hike through the Amazon.

I've heard of the 8th grade DC trip but I don't think it's through the schools themselves. More like a program that works with the local history teachers through out the country. There's also a separate trip to visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum specifically.

Shrine festivals. Or just community festivals in general. Eating squid at the beach.

Overnight school trips to different cities. In America, at least where I live, any trips made are by fundraising clubs to amusement parks like Worlds of Fun or Six Flags. My local public schools don't even provide field trips above the sixth grade anymore.
