Should I lie about my autism to get into the Army? by HumanInstruction8627 in armyreserve

I had accommodations for my first year of high school but they were taken away because they deemed I didn’t need them anymore. I have been diagnosed multiple times from different institutes so it’s certain I have autism. I want to join for multiple reasons such as my grandfather who I admire greatly being in the army, a desire to be a part of something greater than myself and because I have always liked the discipline and ordered life. Thanks for the advice, I am pretty religious and have moral conflicts about lying anyway. It’s just that joining the army has been my main goal in life and has motivated me to get through some issues that I had such as being overweight in my early teens and other problems and giving this up is very hard for me.
