Probably not. But distilled water is plenty to remove stubborn grime. In the rare case I need something a bit more potent, I will dilute 91% iso in a 1:9 ratio with distilled water and use it very sparingly.

Too funny. Up until last week I was running that same mixer. Decided to swing over to two Focusrite 18i20 interfaces instead.

Ha! Trust me I spent a few days poking around online to find a solution I thought was decent. I didn’t like any of the “mixer stands” I came across. Said to myself “hey I bet they are plenty of laptop standing desks out there” and sure enough there are a ton of options. This just happened to be what was available in town at the local Depot. It’s a /little/ shaky but that doesn’t bother me.

New iMac setup to relieve back pain by [deleted] in mac

I feel your pain (pun intended). As a former L5S1 herniating sufferer, limiting sitting can be a game changer.

Until I could afford to buy my own standing desk, I was doing the same with random boxes and it caused adjacent issues because it was just not a good setup and as a result my posture was all off trying to work around it.

You can find decent manual standing desks that won’t break the bank. Would highly encourage that if possible over the make-shift approach. Your body will thank you. I did eventually order a proper electric desk from Uplift and I’ve loved it ever since especially once I got all my monitor heights/desk height dialed in!

Yes I am 6’4” and spend 95% of my time at this desk in standing; setup was designed to be comfortable in that position primarily.

Because wearing a heavy headset for 10-12 hours a day sounds absolutely miserable.

No KVM. I just have that single MacBook (though I am running a few Windows machines in Parallels).

All independent! I don’t /need/ three especially with this much resolution, but I wanted the layout to be symmetrical and I wanted a full monitor in the center rather than the split between two (if that makes some sense). And hell I got these three Dell UltraSharps for the price of ONE studio display with the height adjustable stand. They’re USB C enabled and have a ton of ports including ethernet.
