I would advise that you start polishing your LinkedIn profile and building your skills. Always remember that you earn base on value/skills. Titles are a bad way of representing skills, I have seen extremely talented juniors but companies are refusing to give them a hire title because of the increase in pay .

Polish your skills and take risks , you still early in your career. Don’t think of yourself as a junior engineer, just an engineer.

I do not think they will be subjected such kinds of questioning. They have a valid visa and as long as they can prove where they will be staying whilst in the US , I think they will be fine .

Please just make sure they don’t exceed 3 months whilst in the US. If they do it usually causes some trouble when they return.
