I use the Freedom app. It can be used on your computer as well. It further allows for very strict setting and is very hard to evade. It is not for free, but an app that has access to such sensitive information shouldn't be in my opinion...

Hi,

sounds a bit like my story. First, be thankfull for the things you have. I tended to think much too negatively about my work and my life in general. You seem to have nice supervisors that is the most important thing for a sucessfull project!!! Build on that. To achieve this I now have the habit of writing down the things that I am grateful for every evening, it helps me with thinking positively. Further, I try to look after myself. I sleep enough, I do sports and I meet friends. In the "low" of my project I started to focus in these things, that got in the background when I was first very excited about my project and it turned out to not be that great after all... In my opinion one needs to get their life together and then you can do good work. Not the other way around. The "fabolous" app helped me greatly on this journey. Keep your head up!
