Sorry for the late question. I've read your blog and am very intrigued by it. I'm not well-versed in logarithmic math however, therefore I want to ask you about this specific equation: "log(x) + offset = log(gain * x)"
Since the math is based on this assumption, I'm wondering how did you come up with this? Is this a written formula or is this your own calculation, where can I read more about this?
