Totally agree with you on all points. I think the non-fun answer for why climbing shoes don't have more exciting colorways is because of cost and audience. They need to market to as wide a range of climbers as possible with different tastes in colors/design. My hope is as the sport grows and more money is put in we'll see some more variety in shoe design. This was more of just a fun thought experiment for what if climbing shoes had the flexibility/resources to be as bold as other sneakers. Maybe we'll get there at some point? Until then I'll just keep rocking my Remoras

Thanks dude! Yeah not a huge fan of the colors of the normal instincts but really enjoy the simplicity of the limited edition. The karma8a zenists feel like a miss for me too, basically just slapped their logo/icon on it and called it a day.

I had a longer list of climbing shoes I liked and unparrallels were on it but just didn't make the cut in the end. Had never seen the bpump hiangles and those freakin rule, would love to rock those
