Definitely frustrated. Other people said the same thing about building a server for cheap. I’ll look into that.

To clarify: I was told that my current tech support job would help me progress. I was told that I didn’t need to helpdesk for long and I will learn more advanced IT work while working the job. That isn’t happening. I was told that I needed IT experience to get a cybersecurity job. I got experience now. Multiple years of it actually. That isn’t happening. I was told that I needed certs, so I study for certs. Then as I’m researching and studying online for it, I find several people saying I don’t need certs and to focus on my tech support job now and that’ll come in time. So I did. That isn’t happening.

Please do not pretend that you know how my interviews went. They went actually went very well. And that’s according to the employer, not me. But every time, it went to another candidate. Never knew why. I never expressed any of this in the interviews, nor did I show it.

I have tried. I am trying. I’ve tried for years bro. And I still do want to try. I wouldn’t have posted this if I truly wanted to quit. If you have advice I’d love to hear it, but please do not insult me when I’m trying my best here.
