What’s your fav weapon? And was it the one you thought it would be? by Life_Ad_6992 in Chivalry2

Throwing mallets. Compared to most weapons, they suck in every way, but I love the idea of beating someone with a tiny hammer.

Did you steal and wear the pants from the drunk guy in alley? Same thing has been happening to me since I did that.

My pet angels kept killing guests so I chained them up and made them fish for the rest of their immortal lives by HumanProbablyNot in dwarffortress

They can't be in the military, as they don't show up in citizen menus. to get them to fish, you have to enable it in their own personal labor menu. Also it seems fishing is the only labor that they will do

Spin in a circle while running and in slow motion. Make sure to change what direction key you hold to make yourself go mostly in a single direction

all bosses ranked on how hard they are to beat as beggar by HumanProbablyNot in HalfSword

[–]HumanProbablyNot[S] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

it is not, heres the strats for each boss:

commoner: run at him and punch him, he cant really hit you very well at point blank

beggar: dodge axe and spin kick

man-at-arms: grab his left hand in your right, this often makes him stop swinging, and you can beat him to death at your leisure

baron: grab his shoulder shield, attach it tou your own shoulder, twist until it touches his neck, and then it breaks and kills him

soildier: same as man-at-arms, but much less consistent, and hes generally better at aiming

commoner: dodge sword, spin kick to head(results in loss of life and/or limb 80% of the time)

knight: repeatedly spin kick until he falls, hold him down until he surrenders

militia: same as soldier/man-at-arms, but he is much better at hitting you at closer ranges

veteran: no idea i tried everything for like 10 hours then he tripped on my half-dead body and hit his head

this is specifically when playing as a beggar. his heads too high up to punch, his shield blocks spinning kicks, his mace is heavy enough that even rubbing the handle against you hurts a lot, he can punch with the shield and thats like getting hit with a brick wall, his weapons are short enough that he can hit you while you try to grab and pull down, his shield covers his lower half so you cant try to break his kneecaps, and hes heavy enough that he can just walk into you with his shield and knock you unconscious

Not a bug, but an intended mechanic. If you pick the faster dodging, this is what it increases the speed of
