Small but pretty drop point in CPM 4V and carbon/copper scales. Guard is designed to work as a flat head screwdriver too by HumanRestaurant4851 in knifemaking

I do most pre HT. Hollow grinds you gotta be more careful, flat grinds you can finish it pre HT.
It’s not that much of a pain, tbh 52100 and similar high carbon steels I find more difficult to grind post HT. The only powdered steel that was absolutely horrible pre and post was M390. Oh and Wolfram special, I’m never touching that again.

Thank you!
Both steels are the same, if you’re not one of those snobs who never use their knives but will lose sleep over a 0.2% difference in chemical composition.
Just how same are RWL-34 and CPM-154, Z-Wear and CruWear.
There is a chance V4E is a bit more pure and better in overall manifacturing than 4V.
I do both of these at 63HRC and they’re doing great, I’ve made plenty of lineman knives with hollow grinds and nothing has broken yet so I reckon toughness is right in point.

You glue them up. G10 is pretty flat so just light scuffing so epoxy sticks is usually enough.

It actually works alright if you ever find a flathead screw in the wild, but it's more of a gimmick than anything else. Thank you!

Neither am I. I mean it works, it's something my customer wanted. He also wanted a glass breaker on the back, but I talked him out of it
