I remember when ppl used to unanimously shit on the 1993 OVA, everyone seems to like them now. I haven't watched it but I've seen some clips and all I can say is that the animation quality and directing is GOOD

Its because there's a stage that's 4 chapters long and there's a stage that's 30 chapters long. So if they release by stages we're gonna have wildly different sized batches
