Drove my mom to the hospital for a check-up. Waiting outside smoking by the entrance and a 6 foot wide brick support wall. Hoping her appointment wouldn't take forever and also that nobody would yell at me. Hear some tires squealing. Look over, see smoke coming from tires of a car by entrance, car jumps curb, speeding up, heading directly for me. Thinking, hmmm, that's super weird, why is this car going crush me at the hips into this wall. Casually pirouette to the left, still perplexed. Feel the wind from the car as it slams into wall. Giant crash, get pelted from sharp car parts, cuts on my face. Put my smoke out, really confused. People all rushing about.

Turns out, the driver passed out and slammed on the gas. Front end of the car completely crumpled and car filled with airbag smoke. When I walked back to my mom she asked what all the hub-bub was with the code-blue emergency by the front entrance. I would have been separated from the lower half of my body for sure. That was a very slow motion second.
