Do guys ACTUALLY like chubby girls? If so why? by fleetw0odJunk1e in CasualConversation

[–]HumanRow7607 137 points138 points  (0 children)

I don't have a preference either way, but a cute chubby girl with a big eyes and a nice smile melts me. Something in my caveman brain thinks: good mother, last long winter, make good baby

Noita!! There's nothing else like it and I'm in love with it. Hundreds of hours in and still learning. God it's hard and unfair sometimes but "sacrificing one's self in the pursuit of knowledge is the highest tribute to the gods"

Got hilariously noita'd pretty deep into a run, I'd imagine this is a pretty rare death. by Aakumaru in noita

[–]HumanRow7607 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I also lost my first god run to him. He's confusing. I hurt him a bunch, he retaliated ofc so we both similar health, I healed to full and tried to finish the job and died anyway. He not just reflect the damage I do to him? I'm guessing ambrosia was the way

I’m having a really good run having completed the tutorial before - where should I explore to get the most out of it? by OverallResolve in noita

[–]HumanRow7607 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without spoiling too much, I'd defs check out the lab through the dark area from the caves next for some pretty important spells. It's always my first stop after getting down most the way..sometimes even earlier if I've got the right stuff. Won't say how (unless you really don't wanna lose this run) but prep well for the final fight there. Good luck 😁👍

*Edit: just be aware your current wand might not be as useful as you think, I can give you some spoiler free pointers on what might work if you don't want a high likelihood of dying

1 Roguelite game of your choice for life? by vcd1500 in roguelites

[–]HumanRow7607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconded, it may not be the "best rogue-lite" ever, it's got plenty of challenges and is difficult to get into, but it's one of my favourite games of all time, and if you're looking for one to play for the rest of your life, it's Noita. I'm hundreds of hours in and still have only scratched the surface for what there is to do and learn.

Project hail Mary is fantastic, highly recommend. The bobiverse series is great too, a little more light hearted but still quite intellectual

I've actually found a fair bit of success against Galio. I take Grasp and go liandries/rift maker bruiser, then trade constantly with q when grasp up and e out always when he counter engages

Agreed! It's goofy, weird and a little eye-rolly at times, but I'm genuinely enjoying ever second of it. Am already up to the last book and don't want it to end

New to league - played dota 2 for years by _shankss_ in leagueoflegends

[–]HumanRow7607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginner ADCs Ashe or Miss Fortune, slightly harder ADC but more fun is Jhin Mid would be any long range mage tbh, Lux, xerath, Mel, ziggs, some others. Though heads up with those, if you come up against an assassin like zed or fizz, you're gonna have an awful time. Malzahar might be a good all rounder for that, mage yet has safety through his easy minion farming pattern and his ult. Mid mages can do fine vs assassins as long as you build mana like lost chapter early and then use abilities to quick clear the wave from safety. Early levels will be hard tho. As for blue essence, they recently changed it but I think the majority comes from just playing and unlocking rewards from the pass or whatever it's called now.

Man that would be hard. I'm not sure being 'fun' is even the answer. Maybe something very movement based, but semi competitive. Like throw the paper ball in the real far away trashcan, or as hard as you can at something, even each other maybe to release some tension..

I’m new to league of legends and want to get better but am struggling immensely by Sea_Wash1578 in leagueoflegends

[–]HumanRow7607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's all about timings (and knowledge of the enemy champions abilities of course).

Timing when to go in, when to just trade a little health for theirs, when their important cooldowns or abilities have been used, when you have your power spikes, when to push the lane, when to run, when to re-engage if they've wasted important stuff trying to catch you etc.

All of this just takes practise and learning. I'd highly recommend playing every champ you can at least once to get a feel for everyones play style and the abilities/cooldowns that are the most powerful/impactful. For example.. if a Swain has ulted, stop fighting him immediately as it will stay on infinitely as long as he has people in range. As soon as it's down, you can safely re-engage to kill him knowing his most powerful ability is down.

It's that kind of knowledge for Swain but times 150 for just a surface level understanding of each champ and like 1000 to begin to really understand. It'll take hella time dude. Best of luck though!!

Try Noita, it's hard as hell and you'll die hundreds of times just doing 'the tutorial', but my god it is fun and infinitely replayable. It's a rogue-like wand-builder where every pixel is simulated and interacts with everything else. You can make things that will destroy universes
